AMBA Connect: Edinburgh

What is AMBA Connect?

AMBA Connect events are a series of member-focused, evening events designed to bring together student and graduate members from our ever-growing network of MBAs, MBMs and DBAs around the world.

These events are the perfect setting for future business leaders from AMBA-accredited programmes who wish to meet and exchange insights with like-minded peers, build their professional networks and hear from business leaders, academics, and thought-leaders.

This July we find ourselves in Scotland, and we invite our members from around the UK and beyond to join us for an evening of high-level discussions, informative expert opinion and invaluable networking opportunities.

Registrations for this event are now closed – follow us on socials to discover more about upcoming AMBA Connect events.

About the University of Edinburgh Business School

The University of Edinburgh Business School enjoys a long tradition of teaching and research, opening the doors to our first cohort of students in October 1919. The School offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and executive education programmes in business and management and provides a platform for research, discussion, and debate on a wide range of business issues.

From campaigning for gender equality in the workplace to pioneering internet privacy, our students have gone onto shape business and culture around the world for over a century. Business School students have been writing the future since 1919, we’re asking current students what’s next? What can be achieved over the next 100 years?

Topic of discussion and speaker

Entrepreneurial thinking is for everyone all the time. Anyone can do it and for the benefit of society, the economy, and the environment we must realise this is for everyone. There are examples of entrepreneurship in unexpected places and at unexpected times, yet they are not acknowledged or celebrated.

Join Louisa Macdonell, entrepreneur in residence at University of Edinburgh Business School, to challenge the definition of what an entrepreneur is and change the world together.
