Maria José Amich
Executive Director, the Lisbon MBA Católica|Nova
Maria José Amich is Executive Director of the Lisbon MBA Católica|Nova, a joint venture of two Business Schools based in Portugal, Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics and Nova School of Business and Economics, in collaboration with MIT Sloan School of Management.
Maria José has a background in fast-moving consumer goods, consulting, media, and fashion retail, as well as in education. Her previous roles include marketing and sales managerial positions at Puig and Gillette (P&G) as well as Managing Director roles with Impresa Publishing and branding consultancy, Summa. In 2012, Maria José founded WomenWinWin, an association supporting female entrepreneurs and is Founding Partner of PWN (Professional Women’s Network) Lisbon.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Université de Genève, Switzerland, and an MBA from IESE Business School, Spain.
Nick Barniville
Associate Dean, Degree Programs, Director, EdTech Lab, ESMT Berlin
Nick Barniville is Associate Dean for Degree Programs at ESMT, the European School of Management and Technology in Berlin.
He is also the Founding Director of the school’s EdTech Lab. Nick is responsible for the management and development of the School’s EMBA, MBA, master’s and blended learning portfolio. He is also responsible for internationalisation and partnership activities, most notably through the Future of Management Education alliance (FOME) and, the Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM).
Before moving to Berlin in 2010, Nick spent five years at INSEAD in France and Singapore, latterly as Director of Communications, and four years at the University College Dublin Smurfit School in Ireland.
Prior to academia, Nick worked for 10 years in various commercial and governmental organizations in the UK, Australia, Germany and the US.
Nick is a graduate of French, German and International Business from Dublin City University, Ireland, and holds an MSc in political economy of development from the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London.
Claudine Blamey
Head of Sustainability and Digital Strategy, Argent
Claudine delivered the net zero carbon flights strategy at easyJet. Prior to this she set up the Group sustainability function at Sainsbury’s covering sustainable sourcing, operational waste and community activity as well as group charitable partnerships and overall development of group wide sustainability strategy and implementation.
Claudine was responsible for the sustainability strategy for The Crown Estate’s business. Claudine joined from SEGRO where she was Head of Sustainability. Prior to this she was Director of Corporate Responsibility at British Land where she was responsible for Group corporate responsibility policy, implementation and communication.
Before this Claudine was the Environment Manager at Honda (UK), implementing the company’s environmental policy throughout car, motorcycle and power equipment divisions and dealerships. Claudine was responsible for communicating with NGO’s, Government and local communities as well as raising public awareness of Honda’s Environmental profile.
Claudine is on the City corporation Property Investment Board and was previously on the Board of Business in the Community (BITC) and the Mace Group Responsible Business Board and was Chair of the Institute of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability (ICRS) from 2015-2017. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA) and was President of the tve Global Sustainability Film Awards 2018.
Claudine is a frequent and well regarded conference speaker on corporate responsibility and sustainability. Claudine champions The Crown Estate’s Total Contribution approach, a methodology to measure the economic value of the impact the business has on its ‘capitals’.
Amanda Bauman
Global Student Progams, Salesforce
Amanda helps future job-seekers skill up for the future as part of the Salesforce Student Programs team. In this role she enables learners to use Trailhead, our free online learning platform, to earn resume-worthy skills and credentials, connect to mentors in the Trailblazer Community, and access the career-readiness resources they need to land a job in the Salesforce ecosystem. Before that, she managed IBM’s community and advocacy programs and piloted IBM’s sponsorship of equality programs. In her spare time she’s an artist and musician.
Patti Brown
Director, ESSEC Business School
Patti Brown is the Global MBA and MSc in Hospitality Director at ESSEC Business School. She brings 20 years of international experience in the areas of management, sales, business development, digital solutions and early talent recruiting, with a focus on the higher education sector.
Her strengths are in project and programme development and implementation, with a proven ability to manage multiple initiatives in parallel while balancing priorities and meeting tight deadlines. Patti further brings expertise in building corporate and university relationships internationally, as she was with leading educational firm Parenthèse and the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE), prior to her current position.
Heather Connolly
Director of Professional Programmes, Waikato Management School
Heather Connolly is Director of Professional Programmes at Waikato Management School, University of Waikato, New Zealand. Her role includes academic oversight of the Waikato MBA and a number of corporate programmes. Previously, she was Senior Lecturer in Strategic Management at the School.
Heather’s academic and research interests revolve around strategy and knowledge sharing, and transfer mechanisms as they relate to organisational governance and management. Her teaching style seeks to create an environment of inclusivity that allows students to engage in experiential rather than dictatorial learning.
An experienced management, risk management, compliance and assurance consultant with clients ranging from large listed companies and government agencies to SMEs, Heather is a regular speaker at academic, industry and sector-related conferences in Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. She is also the co-author of Addicted to Performance.
Norbert Csizmadia
President of the Board of Trustees at Pallas Athéne Innovation and Geopolitical Foundation
Norbert Csizmadia is a world traveller, Hungarian geographer and expert in economic strategy, geostrategy, regional and urban development, and geopolitics.
He is the former State Secretary for the Ministry for National Economy and a former Executive Director of the Central Bank of Hungary in charge of economic strategy and planning. He is President of the Board of Trustees at Pallas Athéne Innovation and Geopolitical Foundation and is Chief Editor of Hungarian Geopolitics (HUG) magazine.
Norbert is also author of Geofusion (LID Publishing, 2019).
Chris Dixon
Head of IT Partnering and Innovation, Lancaster University
Chris Dixon is Head of IT Partnering and Innovation at Lancaster University with a portfolio that includes business partnering, mobile development and innovation. Chris is passionate about employing students and apprentices in a diverse workforce, as well as using the experimenting with new technology.
Dr Anino Emuwa
International Management Consultant and Founder of Avandis Consulting
Dr Anino Emuwa is the Founder and Managing Director of Avandis Consulting, an international management consultancy firm in France, which provides financial advisory services to entrepreneurs and business leaders.
Anino, who started her career as a corporate banker with Citibank, is an advocate for gender diversity in business leadership and convenes several international networking communities for women leading businesses including Women@Davos, Women@UNGA, and the Africa Women CEOs Network.
Her firm, Avandis Consulting, hosted the first International Women Business Leaders Networking Reception in Davos during the World Economic Forum in January 2020.
Anino is an international speaker on entrepreneurship, fintech innovation and gender diversity and has spoken at many conferences and institutions including Facebook, French National Assembly, University of Cambridge, London School of Economics, ING Belgium, Money X at Web Summit and TechPark Conference Davos.
Dr Emuwa is the recipient of the Women in Fintech Award from TechPark Davos and the Outstanding Alumni Award from Nottingham Trent University. She has featured and had her writing published in international publications such as Business Chief Middle East and Africa, Forbes and Entrepreneur. An experienced non-executive director, Anino has sat on the board of institutions in the financial services and other sectors.
Anino obtained her DBA from Nottingham Business School. She also holds an MBA from Cranfield School of Management, a BSc in economics from the London School of Economics and is undertaking a masters in entrepreneurship at Cambridge University.
Anino is a fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, a member of the Institute of Directors and an AACSB endorsed instructional practitioner. She has lived and worked in six countries in Europe and Africa and is bilingual in English and French.
Matthew Evans
Regional Director, EMEA Business Schools, Instructure
Matthew Evans is Regional Director for EMEA Business Schools at Instructure. He leads the EMEA Business School community in establishing best practice and ensuring Schools can achieve a truly ‘business class’ learning experience through Canvas’s learning management platform.
Matthew has 10 years’ experience in helping education institutions improve learning outcomes and student experience through SaaS technology.
Alain Goudey
Chief Digital Officer and Professor of Marketing, NEOMA Business School
Alain Goudey is Chief Digital Officer and Full Professor of Marketing at NEOMA Business School in France. He is also Founding Partner of AtooMedia, a sound communication and musical design agency, and its subsidiary, Mediavea, a retail marketing company.
Alain is the co-author of several books and has published his academic work in France and abroad in scientific journals such as International Journal of Research in Marketing and the Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services. His research areas are sensory marketing, design, adoption of disruptive technologies, digital transformation and technologies for education (such as VR, AR and AI).
Alain holds a PhD in management sciences from Université Paris-Dauphine and a master’s in management sciences with an IT specialisation from Institut Mines-Telecom Business School.
Lise Hammergren
Executive Vice President for BI Executive at BI Norwegian Business School
Lise Hammergren is Executive Vice President for BI Executive at BI Norwegian Business School. Before joining BI, she held leadership positions in Orkla and Lever Europe (FMCG), and Schibsted (media).
She has board experience from Kavli Holding, Weifa, Adresseavisen and Orkla Finance. Lise is also Vice Chair of UNICON Consortium for University based Executive Education, a member of the FOME alliance (Future of Management Education) management team, and a trustee of the Kavli Trust.
She holds an MSc in business and economics from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).
Victor Hedenberg
Business Development Manager, AMBA & BGA
Victor Hedenberg is the Business Development Manager for the Business Graduates Association at AMBA & BGA, with responsibilities lying in growing the BGA network, improving the membership and accreditation services, and management of BGA-related projects.
Mr Hedenberg joined AMBA & BGA in 2016 and has since spearheaded the AMBA Development Network (ADN), a platform for institutions looking for AMBA accreditation support, as well as developed the current BGA service and accreditation offering together with the AMBA & BGA accreditation team. He has travelled extensively around the world to meet Business Schools and their senior teams to establish realistic roadmaps for the achievement of BGA accreditation, as well as host and speak at industry-related events.
Mr Hedenberg is a Swedish national educated at Hillsdale College in the United States. He holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration.
George Hulene
Associate Head of School for Student Experience, Coventry University
George is the Associate Head of School for Student Experience in the Economics, Finance and Accounting (EFA) Department at Coventry University. His academic work focuses on corporate financial management, financial derivatives and corporate governance.
In recent years, George has focused on innovating the teaching methods used within the EFA Department, particularly with regards to hybrid learning assisted by platforms, such as Connect Plus. He is a Senior Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy (now Advance HE) and is currently completing a PhD exploring the relationship between executive remuneration, firm performance and executive wealth within the UK banking sector over the last two decades.
Angus Laing
Dean, Lancaster University Management School
Currently Dean of Lancaster University Management School, Angus Laing was previously the Dean of Business and Economics at Loughborough University and prior to that was Head of School of the University of Glasgow Business School.
His initial Chair appointment was at the Open University Business School where he held the HFC Bank Chair of Marketing.
He has served as Chair of the Chartered Association of Business Schools and currrently is Chair of the Academic Journal Guide Board of the Association. He has also been a member of the EQUIS Committee of the European Foundation for Management Development and he regularly chairs business school accreditation panels on behalf of EFMD and AACSB. He is the co-founder of Nurture HE which delivers international business education solutions and serves on the Advisory Board of MBU Capital.
Having completed his undergraduate degree at the University of the Witwatersrand he gained his PhD from the University of Aberdeen. His research interests have centred on the consumption of professional services in contemporary societies, with a particular interest in the impact of technology on service delivery and consumption. This work has been funded by a range of bodies including the ESRC, the NIHR and the British Academy.
David Lefevre
Chairman and Academic Adviser, Insendi
David Lefevre is Chairman and Academic Adviser at Insendi. He is also Director of the Edtech Lab at Imperial College Business School.
David has a long-standing interest in the use of technology in education and started teaching classes online in 2003. He was the Co-Founder, and is now President, of Imperial College eLearning spinout firm, Epigeum (now a successful part of the Oxford University Press). He holds an MSc from Imperial College and a PhD from Imperial College Business School.
Paul Mallette

Paul has more than 30 years of experience in higher education in both teaching and administrative positions, including the higher education quality assurance work where he specialised in business program accreditation, in the US, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. In addition to his teaching and quality assurance work, Paul has served as Director of Training at International Masters Publishers in Paris and Director of Admissions at Clark University’s Graduate School of Management in Worcester, Massachusetts.
A native of Boston, he received his bachelor of science degree from Boston University, his MBA from Clark University, and a Certificate of Management Studies from Harvard University’s Division of Continuing Education.

Wilfred Mijnhardt

Previously, Wilfred Mijnhardt has been Executive Director of the Erasmus Research Institute of Management (ERIM) (1999-2014). ERIM is the joint research institute of Rotterdam School of Management (RSM) and the Erasmus School of Economics (ESE) an institute with over 300 management researchers in five research programmes and an advanced Doctoral Programme (Mphil & PhD) in Business and Management at Erasmus University Rotterdam.
Internationally he is an active member in networks like EIASM, CEMS and EUA. Mr. Mijnhardt holds a bachelor degree in Economics, a master’s degree in Public Administration (both from Erasmus University) a postgraduate certificate in Management of Change and participates as presenter in the joint ABS/BAM Development Programme for Directors of Research. He also contributes to the EFMD/EURAM development programme for research directors ‘Creating Research Leadership in Europe’.
Scott Miller

Formerly the COO of Ralph Lauren Europe, CEO of Pierre Balmain, and Managing Director France of Armani, he has been teaching in various ESSEC programs (LVMH Chair, ESSEC MBA in International Luxury Brand Management, ESSEC MBA in Hospitality Management, ESSEC Executive Education) in Paris and Singapore since 2004. He is currently the Director of Luxury Executive Programs – ESSEC Asia Pacific and served as the Executive Director of ESSEC’s MBA in International Luxury Brand Management between 2004 and 2012.
Glen Murphy

Marco De Novellis is the Editor of BusinessBecause, a leading online publisher dedicated to graduate management education. He writes for industry organisations including GMAC and AACSB, and speaks at major business education media conferences on content marketing strategies for Business Schools.
Marco has provided commentary for publications in emerging education markets like MBA Crystal Ball and Edarabia and shared his perspectives on Business School rankings as a guest on podcasts for Accepted.com and Clear Admit. He is also the author of Changing Careers, Changing Lives, a book of alumni stories written for a leading Business School in China.
Sidharth Oberoi
Director of Global Product, Instructure
Sidharth Oberoi is the Director of Global Product for Instructure and oversees the strategy and vision of product for Canvas. He manages the strategic direction of fast-growing platforms and works with teams globally to ensure that as the product is developed, it is thought about in a global capacity.
Additionally, Sidharth works to identify market-specific product initiatives, recognising that education can vary vastly between – and inside – regions, which sometimes may require additional product needs.
Sidharth has been actively working in education technology for nearly 10 years and is dedicated to providing avenues for institutions and learners to have access to the best tools and resources to enhance education. He also sits on the board of IMS Europe.

Zita Zoltay Paprika
Vice President of International Relations and Accreditations, Corvinus University of Budapest
Zita Zoltay Paprika is Vice President of International Relations and Accreditations at Corvinus University of Budapest. Between January 2014 and January 2020, she was Dean of the Corvinus Business School at Corvinus University of Budapest. Prior to this, she served as Programme Director of the International Study Programmes at the Faculty of Business Administration of Corvinus University of Budapest for seven years.
Her main fields of interest are decision sciences and business economics, and she has been the Chair of the Department of Decision Sciences at the Faculty of Business Administration of Corvinus University of Budapest since 2005. In 2005-2006, Zita spent an academic year at California State University Sacramento as a Fulbright Research Scholar, and she is currently a member of the Hungarian Fulbright Board.
Zita graduated with a master’s degree in mathematics from the Karl Marx University of Budapest and holds a PhD in business administration from Corvinus University of Budapest.
Jonathan Perry

Jonathan Perry is Change Management Consultant for Instructure’s EMEA-based customers. He supports organisations in their transition to Canvas by developing their change strategy to ensure quick and proficient adoption of Canvas’s learning platform.
Delivering change management to educational institutions of all sectors and with over 20 years of education experience, Jonathan is passionate about the use of technology to enhance learning and provide the best student experience.
Hanna-Leena Pesonen
Dean, Professor in Corporate Environmental Management, Jyväskylä University School of Business and Economics, Jyväskylä University
Hanna-Leena Pesonen has a Ph.D. in Environmental Management and M.Sc. Degree in Marketing. Her areas of expertise include corporate environmental strategies and marketing, material flow management, and environmental management systems. Lately her research has been focused on developing sustainable business and bioeconomy.
Pesonen has participated in several international research groups with partners, research institutions, public sector, and business. She has published articles in several international journals and is co-author of SETAC’s code of practice for environmental life cycle costing (LCC). She is a member of the editorial board of International Journal of Life Cycle Assessment and a member of EASAC’s (European Academies Science Advisory Council) Energy Steering Panel.
Besides academic research, she actively works with sustainability challenges of business through consulting and executive education both in Finland and abroad.
Himanshu Rai
Director, Indian Institute of Management Indore, India
Professor Himanshu Rai is the Director of Indian Institute of Management Indore. Under his leadership IIM Indore got the triple crown accreditation of AMBA, AACSB and EQUIS making it one of the 90 odd institutions in the world to have the honor. He is spearheading multiple initiatives at IIM Indore to create significant social impact and address challenges faced by the country. Prior to this appointment, he was the Dean of SDA Bocconi India campus, Professor at SDA Bocconi, Milan, and taught at IIM Lucknow and XLRI.
Himanshu provides strategic consultancy to the Government of India, and in particular, has audited programs sponsored by the Planning Commission of India. He also provides strategic consultancy to the state governments in areas of restructuring, strategic HR management, and employee development. An expert in interpersonal negotiation, he provides consultancy in negotiation to individuals and organizations. His core teaching areas include negotiation, leadership, and justice, and he his book Negotiation is a bestseller on Amazon. In 2015 Himanshu presented a TEDx talk on Ethical Leadership: Lessons from the Vedas, which won him several accolades the world over.

Tania Roquette is a Solutions Director at FULL FABRIC where she works with some of the top MBA programmes. Tania has more than a decade of experience in higher education and previous hands-on experience in higher ed admissions, recruitment and marketing.
Andy Roughton
Managing Director, BusinessBecause
Andy Roughton has been Managing Director of BusinessBecause since January 2018, and of GMAC Media Solutions since its launch in January 2019. The acquisition of BusinessBecause by GMAC in April 2018 has since led its monthly audience to double, and to a rapid increase in the number of Business School clients and the range of media and marketing solutions on offer.
Previously, Andy led client services and creative teams at leading marketing communications agencies for organisations such as Sainsbury’s, Rolls-Royce, Red Bull, Sky and Orange. He started his career in publishing, back when ‘publishing’ meant magazines.
Aditya Singh
Director, Athena School of Management
Aditya Singh is the Director of Athena School of Management in Mumbai, India, where he currently teaches leadership and differential thinking. He has more than 15 years of experience across the corporate sector, consulting, entrepreneurship and academia.
Aditya is a graduate of the Wharton School’s Accelerated Development Program (ADP) and holds an MBA (PGP-FMB) from the SP Jain Institute of Management and Research in Mumbai.
Paolo Taticchi
Executive Director of Global Student Experience, Imperial College Business School
Paolo Taticchi is Executive Director of Global Student Experience at Imperial College Business School, where he is also Professorial Teaching Fellow in Management and Sustainability.
He teaches modules on sustainability and competitive advantage, strategy, global operations and projects, and the future of cities. Paolo formerly served as Director of the School’s MSc in Management and Global Online MBA programmes. Prior to joining Imperial, Paolo was an Associate Professor and Director of MBA Programmes at the University of East London’s Royal Docks Business School; Director of Studies of the Bradford-Perugia MBA; and an Assistant Professor in Business and Management Engineering at the University of Perugia.
Paolo’s research on performance measurement and management, business networks, and corporate sustainability has been published across more than 50 academic journal articles. He is also co-author of the books, Business Performance Measurement and Management: New Contexts, Themes and Challenges and Corporate Sustainability.
Outside academia, Paolo has significant consultancy experience in the fields of strategy, operations, and sustainability. Today, he serves on the advisory boards of Mercato Metropolitano and Global Futures Group. Paolo is also the Co-Founder of three firms in the fields of engineering and consultancy and has served as an advisor to tech startups in the UK, and a social venture in India.
Paolo holds a PhD in industrial engineering with a focus on operations management from the University of Perugia, as well as an MBA with a focus on innovation from the University of Perugia and Bradford School of Management. He has also completed Harvard Business School’s High Potentials Leadership Program.
Chris Vas
MBA Director, UC Business School
Christopher Vas is Associate Professor and MBA Director at the UC Business School, which forms part of the College of Business and Law at the University of Canterbury (UC), New Zealand.
Prior to joining UC, Christopher was Deputy Dean and Director of Murdoch University’s first offshore R&D centre – Singapore Centre for Research in Innovation, Productivity and Technology (SCRIPT).
He has also served as Programme Director at the Australian National University (ANU), Engagement Director at the Indian School of Business (ISB) and in the Australian Government across agencies that include the Departments of Industry and Innovation, Education, and Employment.
Christopher holds a PhD in public policy from the ANU. He has also completed an Executive Certificate in Strategy and Innovation from MIT Sloan School of Management.
Joseph Walsh

Joseph is a tech marketer with a successful track record of helping organisations improve their customer and employee experience, drive greater employee engagement and grow revenue by embracing digital technology. He is product marketing lead for LogMeIn’s UCC portfolio across EMEA, APAC and LATAM.
Marc Wells
Marc Wells, Chief Product Officer, Insendi
Marc Wells is the Chief Product Officer at Insendi and served as Deputy Director of the Edtech Lab at Imperial College Business School between 2015 and 2020.
Marc’s role at Insendi is to facilitate the use of learning technology across all programmes. He holds an MSc in e-learning, multimedia and consultancy, a BSc in computer science, a PgCert in teaching and learning in higher education, and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (now Advance HE).

Ellen Van de Woestijne is Global Strategic Marketing Director for Learning Experience at Barco, where she is responsible for the go-to-market strategy, the complete marketing value chain, and the global communications of Barco’s products and solutions in the learning and development market.
Ellen is a regular speaker on learning technologies and the implementation of virtual-instructor led training.
Kevin Zittle
Global Student Programs, Salesforce
Kevin Zittle is currently part of the Salesforce Student Programs team where he helps higher education organisations prepare students for a future in the digital economy by learning Salesforce skills. Before that, he led enablement for sales compensation at Salesforce and data at the City of Palo Alto. Kevin is 4x Salesforce Certified and a self-proclaimed design nerd.
