We’ve chosen five incredible charities that are offering support to those affected by COVID-19 in various ways and we ask that you choose one of the charities below and donate a recommended amount of just £5 to the organisation of your choice via one of the links below.

Médecins Sans Frontières
Right now, Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is providing urgently needed medical care and support in more than 40 countries, to counter the coronavirus. Its teams are also gearing up to confront potential outbreaks in the hundreds of areas in which it was already working before the pandemic struck.
MSF is deploying medics, sending supplies, and applying nearly 50 years of experience fighting epidemics to protect the most vulnerable and save lives.
Mind
The coronavirus pandemic is having a huge impact on our mental health. Mind provides advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. It campaigns to improve services, raise awareness, and promote understanding. Mind has pledged not to give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets support and respect.
War Child
War Child is striving for a world with no child’s life torn apart by war. As coronavirus makes its operating environment more complicated, War Child remains committed to finding solutions that continue to put children’s needs at the centre of the picture.
War Child is working hard, in line with WHO guidance, to ensure that as many of its programmes as possible are able to continue to reach those most in need.
ActionAid
ActionAid is an international charity that works with women and girls living in poverty. It is on the frontline of the coronavirus crisis helping to stop the spread and save lives as the pandemic hits the world’s poorest countries.
From Italy to India; Liberia to Kenya, local women’s groups are distributing life-saving advice, health information and hygiene kits to vulnerable communities.
ActionAid is also distributing food packages and essential supplies in countries where millions of vulnerable families have no way of earning a living during lockdown.
International Rescue Committee
People in refugee camps in Syria, Greece and Bangladesh face a heightened risk of coronavirus, due to living in more densely populated conditions than the Diamond Princess – the cruise ship where transmission of the virus was four times faster than Wuhan.
The International Rescue Committee responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crises and helps people whose lives and livelihoods are shattered by conflict and disaster to survive, recover, and gain control of their future.
It is responding around the world in countries impacted by coronavirus, including Syria and Yemen, where conflict has devastated healthcare systems. Its health teams are working around the clock to rapidly respond and prevent further spread of the disease.
