AMBA’s re-accreditation of the MIB Trieste School of Management benchmarks the quality of its MBA portfolio

MIB Trieste School of Management has officially received re-accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA), one of the world’s leading authorities on post-graduate business education, demonstrating its continuing commitment to excellence in management education.

Upon receiving AMBA accreditation, all current MBA students and recent MBA alumni of MIB Trieste School of Management are invited to join AMBA’s global member community of more than 60,000 students and alumni in more than 150 countries on a free basis, for networking, thought leadership, career development, and a variety of benefits.

Accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA) represents the highest standard of achievement in post-graduate business education. Its rigorous assessment criteria ensure that only the highest-calibre programmes which demonstrate the best standards in teaching, curriculum, and student interaction achieve Association of MBAs accreditation.

MIB Trieste School of Management was established in 1988 as a not-for-profit consortium by a number of Italian Companies and academics from the University of Trieste and University of Udine. AMBA accredits the MBA in International Business, the Executive MBA and the Executive MBA in Business Innovation at the School.

Members of AMBA’s accreditation panel, representing senior management at AMBA-accredited Business Schools globally, commended the long-standing close relationships the School has with industry, specifically with the insurance and finance sectors.

The panel also praised the focus the School has on innovation, with particular note on its new MBA programme on the subject.

MIB Trieste School of Management was founded in 1988 as a non-profit consortium, on the initiative of major companies and the academic world. Its stakeholders include universities, chambers of commerce, government agencies, professional associations, consultancies, and corporations from Italy and abroad.

MIB positions itself as a niche business school, focused on high level management training and with a specific emphasis on the insurance and the financial sector, where formal partnerships have been established with leading players such Assicurazioni Generali and Allianz.
