Chulalongkorn Business School, the business school of Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, has officially received accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA), one of the world’s leading authorities on post-graduate business education, demonstrating its continuing commitment to excellence in management education.

Upon receiving AMBA accreditation, all current MBA students and recent MBA alumni of Chulalongkorn Business School are invited to join in AMBA’s global member community of more than 60,000 students and alumni in more than 150 countries on a free basis, for networking, thought leadership, career development, and a variety of benefits.

Accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA) represents the highest standard of achievement in post-graduate business education. Its rigorous assessment criteria ensure that only the highest-calibre programmes which demonstrate the best standards in teaching, curriculum, and student interaction achieve AMBA accreditation.

Chulalongkorn Business School is located in Bangkok, Thailand. The school is committed to developing innovative, internationally oriented, and ethical leaders, impacting the Thai society, and advancing business-related knowledge.

Members of AMBA’s accreditation panel commended the strong and collegiate culture at the school. They saw clear leadership and staff who are engaged with the MBA programmes.

The panel also mentioned that although the current teaching and learning spaces for the MBA programmes were already of high quality –the school’s plans to construct a new building on campus which will draw together the five current departments and create a landmark / hub of business education were impressive.

Finally, the panel noted that the school cares about the individual student experience.

Professor Dr. Wilert Puriwat, Dean of Chulalongkorn Business School in Thailand, “It is such a great honour for Chulalongkorn Business School to be internationally accredited by AMBA, the most recognized and trusted name of education quality for global MBA programs. The recognition of AMBA connects our school to the few business schools worldwide that are considered as triple crown accredited schools and communicates the golden badge of quality for business education. Our school is committed to maintaining the highest quality of global business education, and this triple crown accreditation will surely be very valuable to our students, faculty, alumni, and community for years to come.”

AMBA accreditation is international in scope and reach, and AMBA works under the belief that accredited programmes should be of the highest standard and reflect changing trends and innovation in post-graduate management education. Its accreditation process reflects this commitment to fostering innovation, and demanding business schools to perform at the highest level continually.

Andrew Main Wilson, Chief Executive of the Association of MBAs and Business Graduates Association (BGA) said: ‘I would like to congratulate everyone at Chulalongkorn Business School for this accreditation. This school is a leading business school in Thailand and in Asia. AMBA only accredits the top two percent of business schools in the world and we are delighted to have Chulalongkorn Business School included in this number.’
