ESPAE Graduate School of Management officially received re-accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA), one of the world’s leading authorities on post-graduate business education, demonstrating its continuing commitment to excellence in management education.
Upon receiving AMBA re-accreditation, all current MBA students and recent MBA alumni of ESPAE Graduate School of Management are invited to join AMBA’s global member community of more than 55,000 students and alumni in more than 150 countries on a free basis, for networking, thought leadership, career development, and a variety of benefits.
Accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA) represents the highest standard of achievement in post-graduate business education. Its rigorous assessment criteria ensure that only the highest-calibre programmes which demonstrate the best standards in teaching, curriculum, and student interaction achieve Association of MBAs accreditation.
ESPAE is the Graduate School of Management at ESPOL-Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral. ESPAE has been a pioneer in Ecuador in the fields of leadership, innovation, entrepreneurship and sustainability. AMBA accredits the MBA and the executive MBA at the School.
Members of AMBA’s accreditation panel, representing senior management at AMBA-accredited Business Schools globally, commended the Schools focus on innovation and entrepreneurship, which were seen to be relevant to the local market.
The panel also commented on the passionate leadership team and the quality of the faculty body. When the panel spoke to the students and alumni, they were seen to be very committed, and thought that the MBA experience at the School was rewarding and worth recommending.
Xavier Ordeñana, Dean of ESPAE Graduate School of Management said: ‘This renewed achievement fills us with pride. AMBA reaccreditation reflects our commitment towards continuous improvement, which in turn translates in a diverse range of benefits for our students and alumni. Moreover, the Visiting Panel’s consultative feedback has been extremely helpful in our strategic revision process towards increasing ESPAE’s impact in the country and the region.’
AMBA accreditation is international in scope and reach, and AMBA works under the belief that accredited programmes should be of the highest standard and reflect changing trends and innovation in post-graduate management education. Its accreditation process reflects this commitment to fostering innovation, and demanding Business Schools to perform at the highest level continually.
Andrew Main Wilson, Chief Executive of the Association of MBAs and Business Graduates Association (BGA) said: ‘ESPAE Graduate School of Management is a unique and important part of our network. I would like to congratulate everyone at the School for their work towards this re-accreditation and I look forward to continuing to work with this School in the future.’
