Hult International Business School achieves AMBA re-accreditation, confirming itself as a world leading Business School and management education institution

Hult International Business School officially received re-accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA)one of the world’s leading authorities on post-graduate business education, demonstrating its continuing commitment to excellence in management education.

Upon receiving AMBA accreditation, all current MBA students and recent MBA alumni of Hult are invited to join AMBA’s global member community of more than 57,000 students and alumni in more than 150 countries on a free basis, for networking, thought leadership, career development, and a variety of benefits.

Accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA) represents the highest standard of achievement in post-graduate business education. Its rigorous assessment criteria ensure that only the highest-calibre programmes which demonstrate the best standards in teaching, curriculum, and student interaction achieve Association of MBAs accreditation.

Hult is a private, not-for-profit Business School. It has a global reach through its campuses in the major business cities of San Francisco, Boston, London, and Dubai, as well as Ashridge House north of London.

In addition, the School operates educational rotation centres in New York and Shanghai each summer.

AMBA accredits the MBA, EMBA and Degree Apprenticeship (DA) MBA at the School.

Members of AMBA’s accreditation panel, representing senior management at AMBA-accredited Business Schools globally, commended the Schools commitment to sustainability and social responsibility which were both seen to be clearly evidenced and globally recognised through the Hult Prize and its commitment to the UN PRME. The School had appointed a member of staff to ensure these principles were integrated into the learning environment and curriculum.

Research at the School was noted to follow these commitments to social responsibility, with 31% of faculty publishing research on ethical and sustainable issues.

The panel also commended the School’s ability to adapt to the challenges of the pandemic. This was seen in the number of students it managed to recruit and the considerable investment in technology it had made, which the School planned to continue using in the post pandemic world.

‘It goes without saying that we are delighted to retain our AMBA accreditation. As academic institutions have been forced to adapt to COVID, so too have accreditors. AMBA has been effective in maintaining its approach to quality assurance while at the same time allowing institutions to adapt to changing circumstances. We look forward to the future of our relationship with AMBA,’ said Dr. Ian Dougak, Dean of Academic Affairs.

AMBA accreditation is international in scope and reach, and AMBA works under the belief that accredited programmes should be of the highest standard and reflect changing trends and innovation in post-graduate management education. Its accreditation process reflects this commitment to fostering innovation, and demanding Business Schools to perform at the highest level continually.

Andrew Main Wilson, Chief Executive of the Association of MBAs and Business Graduates Association (BGA) said: ‘I am delighted to congratulate Hult International Business School on the re-accreditation. I applaud each member of staff who worked towards this accreditation visit. I am looking forward to continuing to work with this School in the future.’
