IDE Business School, Universidad Hemisferios officially received re-accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA), one of the world’s leading authorities on post-graduate business education, demonstrating its continuing commitment to excellence in management education.
Upon receiving AMBA accreditation, all current MBA students and recent MBA alumni of IDE Business School at Universidad Hemisferios are invited to join AMBA’s global member community of more than 59,000 students and alumni in more than 150 countries on a free basis, for networking, thought leadership, career development, and a variety of benefits.
Accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA) represents the highest standard of achievement in post-graduate business education. Its rigorous assessment criteria ensure that only the highest-calibre programmes which demonstrate the best standards in teaching, curriculum, and student interaction achieve Association of MBAs accreditation.
IDE Business School is a non-profit, private educational institution located in Guayaquil and Quito, Ecuador. The School focuses on developing and updating the managerial skills of managers and entrepreneurs, and since 2012, it has been the Business School of Universidad Hemisferios. AMBA accredits the MBA at the School.
Members of AMBA’s accreditation panel, representing senior management at AMBA-accredited Business Schools globally, commended the professionalism and commitment of the corporate relations and alumni teams.
The panel also mentioned the personalised and responsive tutoring system, which they thought contributed to the caring environment at the School. This was seen to be highly appreciated by the students.
The Schools collaborative and inclusive approach to faculty at its sister institutions was also noted by the panel.

In 2018, this action was recognized with the AMBA accreditation, one of the most prestigious in the world, and today, in 2021, the IDE is again among the best business schools in Ecuador in the region to be re-accredited by this important entity.
