The Faculty of Business Administration, Prague University of Economics and Business officially received accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA), one of the world’s leading authorities on post-graduate business education, demonstrating its continuing commitment to excellence in management education.
Upon receiving AMBA accreditation, all current MBA students and recent MBA alumni of Faculty of Business Administration, Prague University of Economics and Business are invited to join AMBA’s global member community of more than 56,000 students and alumni in more than 150 countries on a free basis, for networking, thought leadership, career development, and a variety of benefits.
Accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA) represents the highest standard of achievement in post-graduate business education. AMBA’s rigorous assessment criteria ensure that only the highest-calibre programmes which demonstrate the best standards in teaching, curriculum, and student interaction achieve Association of MBAs accreditation.
The Faculty of Business Administration is one of the six faculties of Prague University of Economics and Business. AMBA accredits the MBA in Economics and Management at the School.
Members of AMBA’s accreditation panel, representing senior management at AMBA-accredited Business Schools globally, commended the prestigious reputation of the University in Central Europe.
The panel also mentioned the company workshop series which were launched at the School in 2020. These workshops were seen to make the programme more practical and connected with real world business situations.
The panel also commented on the internationality of the student body, the diversity of which was appreciated by students and employers.
Prof. Ivan Nový, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration (FBA), Prague University of Economics and Business (VSE), said, ‘I believe that receiving the AMBA-accreditation significantly clarifies the rather confusing marketplace in the area of MBA programmes offered in the Czech Republic. We appreciate the fact that it reinforces our Faculty commitment to prioritise executive education.’
