UCL School of Management in London officially received accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA), one of the world’s leading authorities on post-graduate business education, demonstrating its continuing commitment to excellence in management education.
Upon receiving AMBA accreditation, all current MBA and MBM students and recent MBA and MBM alumni of UCL School of Management in London are invited to join AMBA’s global member community of more than 57,000 students and alumni in more than 150 countries on a free basis, for networking, thought leadership, career development, and a variety of benefits.
Accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA) represents the highest standard of achievement in post-graduate business education. Its rigorous assessment criteria ensure that only the highest-calibre programmes which demonstrate the best standards in teaching, curriculum, and student interaction achieve Association of MBAs accreditation.
UCL School of Management was created in 2015 based on the UCL Department of Management Science and Innovation. The business school develops its teaching programmes around key drivers of the future of business; technology, innovation, entrepreneurship, and analytics, with the aim to create disruptive research and entrepreneurial leaders for the complex, interconnected world of the future.
While the main campus is located in Bloomsbury and reserved for undergraduate programmes, there is a postgraduate programmes campus in Canary Wharf, where the school has just expanded into Level 50 with a hybrid lecture allowing students to join lectures remotely and in person. AMBA accredits The UCL MBA, The UCL MBA with Peking University and the MSc in Management at the School.
Members of AMBA’s accreditation panel, representing senior management at AMBA-accredited Business Schools globally, commended the university’s global reputation and the opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration within a comprehensive university with 11 faculties.
The panel also noted the facilities in Canary Warf, as being beneficial because the campus is within the financial centre of London and in close proximity to entrepreneurial hubs.
The panel was impressed with the quantitative/STEM strengths of the programmes and the strong research performance of the faculty body.
