KEDGE Business School’s MBA programme receives AMBA re-accreditation

KEDGE Business School has officially received re-accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA), one of the world’s leading authorities on post-graduate business education, demonstrating its continuing commitment to excellence in management education.

Upon receiving AMBA accreditation, all current MBA students and recent MBA alumni of KEDGE Business School are invited to join AMBA’s global member community of more than 60,000 students and alumni in more than 150 countries on a free basis, for networking, thought leadership, career development, and a variety of benefits.

Accreditation from the Association of MBAs represents the highest standard of achievement in post-graduate business education. Its rigorous assessment criteria ensure that only the highest-calibre programmes which demonstrate the best standards in teaching, curriculum, and student interaction achieve Association of MBAs accreditation.

KEDGE Business School’s main campuses are in Bordeaux, Marseille, Paris and Toulon, France. The school currently enrols 14,000 students to its four campuses; and four associated campuses abroad (Shanghai and Suzhou in China; Dakar in Senegal; and Abidjan in Côte d’Ivoire). AMBA accredits the Global MBA for Executives and the Blended MBA at the school.

Members of AMBA’s accreditation panel, representing senior management at AMBA-accredited business schools globally, commended the staff and faculty at the business school, who they thought were clearly dedicated to both the long-term prosperity of the institution and the academic and pastoral wellbeing of participants.

The panel also commented that the business school attracts excellent MBA students in all locations. These students were then seen to develop into loyal and supportive alumni.

Finally, the alumni association was said to be impressively active. The panel mentioned that the alumni played a role in the governance and operation of the programmes at the school, and thought that this demonstrated the business school’s commitment to lifelong learning.

Through the renewal of this label of excellence originally held since 2017, KEDGE confirms its place in the prestigious circle of the top 1% of management schools in the world and the 16 French schools that hold triple certification from the most renowned international labels: AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA.

“The renewal of the AMBA accreditation is a great source of pride and motivation to continue to promote a management culture focused on sustainable societal impact. The AMBA accreditation, together with the work to reposition our Executive MBA towards the positive environmental and societal contribution of companies, has established KEDGE’s MBA programmes as among the most attractive on the global stage”, explained Alexandre de Navailles, Director General of KEDGE Business School.

AMBA accreditation is international in scope and reach, and AMBA works under the belief that accredited programmes should be of the highest standard and reflect changing trends and innovation in post-graduate management education. Its accreditation process reflects this commitment to fostering innovation, and demanding business schools to perform at the highest level continually.

Andrew Main Wilson, Chief Executive of the Association of MBAs and Business Graduates Association (BGA) said: ‘I am delighted that KEDGE Business School’s MBA programmes have been re-accredited. This very global business school plays an important part in our network of the top 2% of business schools globally. I look forward to continuing AMBA’s close relationship with this school.’
