IITESO, Universidad Jesuita de Guadalajara

The Department of Economics, Administration and Marketing, together with the University Business Centre (CUE) and the Centre for Innovation and Technology Management (CEGINT), comprise the ITESO School of Business (ITESO-BS). This three-part entity operates within a collaboration framework.

The vision of the Business School is to be the node of training, linkage, and research that, from the Ignatian style, develops collaborative processes and co-creation to transform reality in the field of business.

The ITESO-BS links networks that transcend borders thanks to the university’s adhesion to the International Association of Jesuit Business Schools (IAJBS), which brings together more than 180 Jesuit universities from America, Europe, Asia, and Africa and seeks to promote a new business education paradigm that contributes to a fairer, more inclusive economy with a gender perspective.

Universidad Anáhuac México, Business and Economics School

The Business and Economics School (BES) at Universidad Anáhuac México (a private, catholic-oriented university) is AACSB and AMBA-accredited.

It was founded in 1964 as separate accounting, business administration and economics schools. The three schools merged in 1992 and an MBA programme was launched the following year, in 1993. Today, BES offers 14 undergraduate and five postgraduate programmes on two campuses in Mexico City.

BES currently serves more than 3,000 enrolled students, (2,800 undergraduate and 350 postgraduate) and accounts for 30 per cent of the total student population of Universidad Anáhuac México.

Regarding faculty, BES has 80 full-time researchers/professors who work on a wide range of topics, such as strategy, entrepreneurship, finance, accounting, leadership, management and marketing. BES also has a business incubator, a business accelerator and an executive education branch offering consulting solutions, economic information analysis and forecasts.

IPADE Business School

IPADE was founded in 1967 by a group of prominent business leaders aiming to promote a robust, humanistic approach to business practice and professionalise managerial work in Mexico. Since its foundation, IPADE has focused on senior management and used the case method as its main teaching and learning methodology.

The school’s programme portfolio currently consists of full-time MBA and executive MBA degree programmes, as well as a distinctive set of executive education offerings that includes senior management programmes, focused programmes and custom programmes.

IPADE has permanent campuses in Mexico’s three major urban areas of Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey. To meet the needs of business communities in smaller cities, the school also offers face-to- face executive education programmes at a handful of temporary venues across the country and the region every year, along with an ever-increasing offering of blended and fully online programmes.
