IÉSEG’s Grande École Master in Management programme receives AMBA-accreditation

IÉSEG School of Management in France has enhanced its commitment to excellence in management education with the accreditation of its Grande École Master in Management programme by the Association of MBAs (AMBA)

This recent accreditation of IÉSEG’s Grande École progamme is in addition to its suite of MBA and MBM programmes which are already accredited by AMBA, one of the world’s leading authorities on post-graduate business education

Accreditation from AMBA represents the highest standard of achievement in post-graduate business education. Its rigorous assessment criteria ensure that only the highest-calibre programmes which demonstrate the best standards in teaching, curriculum, and student interaction achieve AMBA accreditation.

Upon receiving AMBA accreditation, all current Grande École students and Grande École alumni of IÉSEG are invited to join AMBA’s global member community of more than 50,000 students and alumni in more than 150 countries on a free basis, for networking, thought leadership, career development, and a variety of benefits.

IÉSEG, a member of the Université Catholique de Lille, (France) was established in 1964 and since has become one of the most prestigious Business Schools in the country.

The School’s Grande École programme, delivered on the Lille and Paris campuses, focuses on preparing ready-to-work managers who will have a strategic vision of business. It revolves around three dimensions: acquiring knowledge; helping students to gain and apply corporate-based know-how effectively; and developing a personal development project. Within the master’s course, students can choose from a series of specialisations. The course also has a focus on employability with a built-in internship and the option to take on a gap-year and consulting projects for companies

We are delighted to receive this new AMBA accreditation for the Grande École programme, explains Jean-Philippe Ammeux, Dean at IÉSEGThe AMBA accreditation highlights the quality of these programmes and reinforces their attractiveness in France and internationally.  It is also a source of recognition of the efforts made by all the School’s stakeholders.

The accreditation is international in scope and reach, and AMBA works under the belief that accredited programmes should be of the highest standard and reflect changing trends and innovation in post-graduate management education. Its accreditation process reflects this commitment to fostering innovation, and demanding Business Schools to perform at the highest level continually.

Andrew Main Wilson, Chief Executive of the Association of MBAs and Business Graduates Association (BGA), said: The Grand École programme at IÉSEG is an excellent example of a higher education course focused on student experience. The focus on internationality, employability and responsible management are key aspects of a course at this level of prestige. I am delighted that this course will be joining IÉSEG’s suite of programmes which were already accredited by AMBA and look forward to continuing to work with the School in the future.’
