IIM Rohtak receives AMBA-accreditation, confirming itself in the top 2% of Business Schools globally IIM Rohtak officially received accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA), one of the world’s leading authorities on post-graduate business education, demonstrating its continuing commitment to excellence in management education. With this, the institute has marked its place among top management institutes across the globe.
Accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA) represents the highest standard of achievement in post-graduate business education. Its rigorous assessment criteria ensure that only the highest-calibre programmes which demonstrate the best standards in teaching, curriculum, and student interaction achieve Association of MBAs accreditation.
IIM Rohtak received AMBA accreditation for its flagship Post Graduate Program. The program is a two-year, fully residential programme encompassing cross –functional knowledge and a mandatory summer internship for all participants. It reflects the ethos set by AMBA in terms of its rigorous curriculum and teaching standards. Located within the National Capital Region (NCR) of India, IM Rohtak, has been a pioneer in terms of setting new benchmarks on management education in India and aims to build the leaders of tomorrow.
Members of AMBA’s accreditation panel commended the campus infrastructure, which they thought was impressive, and assured a supportive, welcoming learning environment. The panel also mentioned the collegial senior team, who were seen to be working towards an engaged vision. The panel noted that the atmosphere at the School was very supportive and caring. Finally, the panel also mentioned that the gender diversity on the programme is a unique feature of IIM Rohtak and one which positively influences recruitment.
Welcoming the news, Prof. Dheeraj Sharma, Director IIM Rohtak stated: ‘I envisioned to build IIM Rohtak as one of the top management education institutions in the world. We are delighted to achieve the AMBA accreditation. With this recognition, IIM Rohtak becomes the fifth IIM to gain this accreditation, entering the ranks of IIM Calcutta, IIM Indore, IIM Kozhikode, and IIM Lucknow. We are also the first among second and third generation IIMs to achieve this landmark.’

Its accreditation process reflects this commitment to fostering innovation, and demanding Business Schools to perform at the highest level continually.
