Sofia University’s FEBA has become the first AMBA accredited business school in Bulgaria

The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski has officially received accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA), one of the world’s leading authorities on post-graduate business education, demonstrating its continuing commitment to excellence in management education.

Upon receiving AMBA accreditation, all current MBA students and recent MBA alumni of The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” are invited to join in AMBA’s global member community of more than 60,000 students and alumni in more than 150 countries on a free basis, for networking, thought leadership, career development, and a variety of benefits.

Accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA) represents the highest standard of achievement in post-graduate business education. Its rigorous assessment criteria ensure that only the highest-calibre programmes which demonstrate the best standards in teaching, curriculum, and student interaction achieve Association of MBAs accreditation.

The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” (FEBA) is a leading institution in Bulgaria and Southeast Europe for research and education in economics, finance, and management.

AMBA has recently accredited the MBA at the school. The MBA has three areas of specialisation – the MBA in Strategic Management, the MBA in Human Resource Management and the MBA in Management Information systems.

Members of AMBA’s accreditation panel commended the leading reputation of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration and Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” nationwide.

The panel also noted the faculty’s drive for continuous improvement and for meeting international standards.

Finally the panel noted the dedication and passion of the faculty – particularly in their diversity and their energy for change.
